🦖 How to play

mint a fefer, fight for dollars, and 30% of every dollar mint market-buys real $FEFER into a prize pot with no withdraw function.

500 pixel fefers plus one 1-of-1, king fefer. You pick who fights, both sides put money in the middle, and the winner walks with the purse in real dollars. All on Stable, so every price on this page is a plain dollar price.

The whole game in four steps

  1. 1
    Mint a fefer
$20 to start, climbing to $70 as the drop sells out. Your fefer gets a name, six stats, a weapon and its own pixel art, rolled on chain.
  2. 2
    Send it in
Everything you mint starts on the bench. You choose who fights, one fefer at a time, and you can bench them again whenever.
  3. 3
    Fight for the pot
Both sides put in the same amount. The winner takes 90% of the pot. Win a fight and you also get a free roll at both prize pots.
  4. 4
    Don’t die
Lose three in a row and your fefer goes to the graveyard. You can pay to bring it back, but only three times ever. The fourth death is forever — or eject it and rest it 12 hours to wipe a losing streak before the third loss lands.

That’s it. Everything below is the detail.

You know the fefer. The little blue toy t-rex, certified meme, already immortal on $FEFER. Fighting Fefers takes 500 of them, gives every one a name, stats and a weapon, and opens a stomping ground where the purse is actual dollars. Two fefers walk in, one walks out holding the pot.

The twist that makes this more than a mint: the game buys the meme. 30% of every dollar mint market-buys real $FEFER off the open market and locks it in a pot with no withdraw function, and a slice of every fight keeps buying after the drop sells out.

Nobody’s coming to save you. No bots to farm, no house fefers padding your record. Every fefer in the stomping ground belongs to a real player who paid their way in, same as you.

Somewhere above it all sits king fefer, the one fefer in the exact canonical blue. Blue is the best. It was always blue.

1. Minting

Head to /mint and pick how many you want, up to 20 in one transaction. Pay in plain dollars, or pay in $FIGHT for 10% off.

The price climbs as the drop sells. It goes on mint number, not token id, so the earlier you are the cheaper it is:
  • mints 1–10: $20
  • mints 11–25: $30
  • mints 26–100: $40
  • mints 101–400: $20
  • mints 401–500: $70

All 500 as single paid mints is $25,650 through the door, less once bulk freebies take slots out of the same 500. The live price is always on the mint page.

★ FOUNDER 25 (token ids 1–25), the gold tier:
  • 25% off every fight, forever
  • Two free revives out of the graveyard
  • Gold founder badge on every card
★ FOUNDER 50 (token ids 26–50), the second tier:
  • 10% off every fight, forever
  • One free revive out of the graveyard
  • Founder badge on every card

Founders pay for their fefers like everyone else. The perks are the badge, the fight discount and the free revives, never a free mint.

Mint in bulk, get bonus fefers free
  • Mint 5 → get 1 free
  • Mint 10 → get 3 free
  • Mint 20 → get 7 free

Flat and automatic, not a draw. Buy the bundle, the extras come out in the same transaction.

Rarity runs in colour bands, and blue is the best, because the original fefer is blue. Worst to best:
  • common, dusty: 310 fefers (Dagger, Trident, Mace)
  • uncommon, burnt: 125 fefers (Gladius, Short Bow)
  • rare, weird: 50 fefers (Crossbow, Flail)
  • legendary, golden: 10 fefers (Flaming Sword, War Axe)
  • epic, blue: 5 fefers (Warbow, Arbalest), the best band in the drop
  • the original: 1/1, king fefer at token 501, Golden Warbow, dev wallet only

The whole rarity order is shuffled and locked when the contract deploys, so nobody can work out which mint pulls the good gear.

2. Fighting

Go to /duel. You get auto-matched against a fefer near your Rating. Pick your fighter, or hit Reroll opponent if you don’t like the look of them.

The money and the split. Both sides put in the same amount and the whole lot goes in the middle. You can pay in $FIGHT or in plain dollars. The two are priced separately and both move, so the fight screen is the place to see what each costs right now. Then:
  • Win: you take 90% of the pot, paid in whatever went in.
  • Lose: your money’s gone and your loss streak ticks up.
  • Tie: you each get your own money back less the 10%, and a tie resets both loss streaks.

Founders pay less to get in, forever. Ids 1-25 pay 25% less, ids 26-50 pay 10% less. It’s a percentage of whatever a fight costs on the day, so it moves with the price. Say a fight is $10 a side: they’d pay $7.50 and $9.00. The purse they win is the same size as anyone else’s.

Combat is turn-based. Higher DEX swings first and lands more hits, STR sets your damage, CON sets your HP. Weapons beat each other in a triangle: blade beats blunt, blunt beats ranged, ranged beats blade, and the advantage multiplies your damage by 1.15×. INT, WIS and CHA don’t do anything yet. First to zero HP loses; both at zero in the same round is a tie.

Every fefer starts at Rating 1000 and moves on Elo after every fight. Beat someone above you, climb fast. Lose to someone below you, drop hard. The leaderboard ranks everyone by Rating and /history is the full fight log.

PvP, top to bottom. No bots, no dev-owned punching bags. Every fefer you face belongs to a real player. Nothing enters a fight on its own either: your pack sits on the bench until you send them in, and a benched fefer can’t be matched or killed, full stop. The flip side is that if nobody’s in your rating band, you wait.

3. The two pots 💰

Two prize pots hang over the fights. The $FEFER pot holds real $FEFER the game bought off the open market. The $FIGHT pot holds $FIGHT.

Every decisive duel rolls both pots, each at its own odds. You’re in the running for both, but you can never win both in the same fight — if the rare double ever comes up, the chain pays one and the other rolls over. What that works out to for you:
  • the $FIGHT pot: about 1 in 50 fights
  • the $FEFER pot: about 1 in 100 fights

No entry, no ticket, nothing to buy. Winning a duel is the only way in, and ties get nothing. The result lands a moment after the fight rather than inside it, and you don’t claim anything: if it hits, the tokens are just in your wallet.

How the pots fill. 30% of every dollar mint market-buys real $FEFER and drops it in the pot. Every revive chips in too, and its 30% now splits 15% into $FEFER here and 15% into the $FIGHT pot. Real buys of the real token, not a fork and not a wrapper. Fights feed it too, a slice taken out of the dev’s 10%, so the buying doesn’t stop when the drop sells out. The winner’s 90% is never touched.
The buy happens inside your own transaction. Pay in dollars and the slice goes out to the market then and there, comes back as $FEFER, and is locked in the pot before your mint or your fight is finished. Nothing sits in the middle waiting on us, and the buy shows up on chain right next to the money you paid.

One thing comes first though: your transaction never fails because of our buy. If the pool has gone thin or the router is having a day, the mint or the fight still goes through and those dollars wait in the mint contract until the buy can be made. While they’re waiting they’re still ours to move, and that’s deliberate: if the router breaks for good, someone has to be able to place the buy by hand and put the $FEFER in the pot. That’s the exception, not the normal day, and the contract logs which of the two happened every single time.

Neither pot can be withdrawn. By anyone, including us. No withdraw function, no emergency hatch, no owner drain. The one owner-only function that can move a token out of a pot is a sweep for coins someone sent there by mistake, and its very first line refuses the prize token: point it at the pot’s own coin and the transaction reverts. That’s not a promise, it’s the contract, and the source is verified on the explorer so you can go and read the line. A pot only ever empties by someone winning it.

Honest note: the $FEFER pot holds a memecoin we don’t control. If fefer bleeds, the pot bleeds. The game never depends on it, and the $FIGHT pot is our own economy.

4. The graveyard 💀

Lose three duels in a row and your fefer falls to the graveyard. It can’t fight again until someone pays to drag it back up. A win or a tie resets the streak, so it’s three straight losses, not three in total.

😴 Rest resets the streak. Eject a fefer from the stomping ground and leave it out for 12 hours, and its losing streak wipes clean — its next loss is a fresh first, not a fatal third. Eject it so nobody can drag it into a fight while it rests. Death is still real and still forever; a rest just walks a fefer back from the brink before the third one lands.
You have first claim on your own fefer. The owner ladder, paid in dollars:
  • first revive: $20
  • second revive: $50
  • third revive: $200

After 24 hours, anyone else can take it over instead. You get a full day’s head start, then the door opens and a stranger can pay the takeover ladder $200 → $500 → $1000 and the fefer revives straight into their wallet. Dearer at every rung, but you lose the fefer. Don’t leave a good one lying down there.

Three revives is the lot. The fourth death is forever, for you and for anyone hoping to take it. The count sticks to the fefer, not to the wallet, so buying a fallen one doesn’t reset it. Check which rung a fefer is on before you bid.

Founders get free revives off the top of the owner ladder: ids 1-25 get two, ids 26-50 get one. A free one still uses up a rung, so a gold founder’s ladder reads free, free, $500. Takeovers are never free.

Come back and your Rating, record and stats are exactly where you left them. Only the loss streak resets. A revive is not a re-roll.

Baby fefers 🥚

Once you hold a fefer, a whole second collection opens up: baby fefers, little sidekicks that fight in your fefer’s corner. Buy an egg on the hatch eggs tab over at /mint, crack it open, and bond the baby to one of your fighters.

Hold a fefer, mint an egg. Eggs are holder-gated, so no fefer, no egg. Pay in plain dollars, or pay in $FIGHT for 10% off, same as a fefer:
  • first 50 eggs: $5
  • every egg after: $10

500 eggs in the pool. Get in early for the $5 rung, then it’s $10 the rest of the way.

Hatching is a roll, you don’t pick. Crack the egg and a comet screams in for the reveal, then the baby lands on a colour band and its own mouth-weapon, both decided right there. Bands worst to best, and blue is the best, because the original fefer is blue:
  • dusty: 62 in 100
  • burnt: 25 in 100
  • weird: 10 in 100
  • golden: 2 in 100
  • blue: 1 in 100, the top band

On top of the 500 eggs sits one 1-of-1 king baby at #501, guaranteed blue with no roll. It goes to whoever holds king fefer, the 1/1 adult.

Bond a baby and it fights in your fefer’s corner. A hatched baby bonds to one of your fefers and rocks up beside it in the stomping ground, riding its mouth-weapon into the fight. Every weapon grants one combat effect, and a better band makes it bigger:
  • a nip that chips the enemy every round
  • a bottle that tops your fefer up once when it’s on the ropes
  • a ward that makes your fefer harder to hit
  • a teddy thrown in front of one killing blow, so your fefer lives on 1 HP

And a few more, from a wider crit window to extra starting HP. Whatever you get comes from the weapon the hatch rolled, and it scales with the band, so a blue baby helps the hardest.

Balanced on purpose, never a runaway. A bonded fefer beats an even, unbonded one, and that’s the edge you paid for. But line up two bonded fefers and you’re back to a fair fight. Every effect is held under a 70% win rate on its own, so a baby nudges a close one your way without ever buying the fight.

Babies are standard NFTs and list on /market in plain dollars, same as a fefer. Bond the ones you love, sell the ones you don’t.

Getting set up

Click Connect Wallet top-right and pick your browser wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, Brave, Frame, anything EIP-1193). It’ll offer to add Stable for you the first time. On mobile, open this site inside your wallet app’s browser.

Stable, by hand
  • Network name: Stable
  • RPC URL: https://rpc.stable.xyz
  • Chain ID: 988
  • Currency symbol: USDT
  • Block explorer: https://stablescan.xyz

Yes, the gas currency really is USDT. That’s the whole point of Stable: gas costs cents, the pot you win is real money, and no price on this site needs converting. See docs.stable.xyz for ways to bridge or on-ramp USDT onto the chain.

Buying and selling fefers

Any fefer can be listed on /market, priced in plain dollars. Open your fefer’s page, enter a price in the Marketplace panel, and list it. The first listing needs an extra approval popup; after that it’s one.

The NFT stays in your wallet the whole time, there’s no escrow. When someone buys, 95% of the sale lands in your wallet and 5% goes to the treasury. You can update the price or cancel at any time, and cancel always works so nothing can get stuck.

A listed fefer can’t duel, so nobody can sell a fighter out from under a buyer mid-match. Dead fefers can be listed and bought too, ladder rung and all.

king fefer (1/1, token 501)

One 1-of-1 fefer. All six stats at 18, starting Rating 2000, level 10, the only Golden Warbow in existence, and the exact canonical toy blue. Blue is the best; this is the blue. Dev wallet only, only ever exists once, sits above every rarity band.

If you meet it in the stomping ground, expect to lose. If you beat it, expect the internet to talk about it for days.

What we can and cannot do

Check the contracts. Every contract the game runs on is verified on stablescan, so the code that is actually deployed can be read straight off the explorer. Every claim below is a line in there. You don’t have to trust the economics on this page, you can go and check them, and if a number here ever disagrees with the contract, the contract is right.
$FIGHT has no admin functions, from block one. Fixed supply, plain ERC-20 launched through a launchpad. No whitelist, no blacklist, no trading switch, no owner to trust and nothing to renounce, because there was never a key in the first place. Verify it on-chain.
LP locked at creation. The launchpad pools the entire supply the moment the token is created and locks the LP in its own locker. The dev never holds the liquidity, so the dev can’t pull it. Pool and lock links go in the launch receipts.
Neither pot has a withdraw path. Not for the dev, not for anyone, not even an “emergency” one. The only exit is a player winning. Every $FEFER buy publishes its tx hash, so anyone can total exactly how much the game has bought.
No presale, no VC round, no hidden allocation. The whole supply goes into the public pool at creation. If the dev buys in it happens in the open at launch, same terms as everyone, wallet disclosed in the receipts.
What the dev can still change. The game contracts stay dev-owned so fight costs, mint prices and fees can be tuned as the game evolves, all under hard caps written into the bytecode. None of them can mint $FIGHT, drain LP, touch a pot, or take your funds. Tuning a game is not the same as being able to take your money.

A few tips

  • Check the weapon triangle before you commit. 1.15× damage decides close fights.
  • Read the combat log when you lose. Bad rolls are bad luck. Low DEX means you swing last every round, and that’s structural.
  • Respect the streak. On two losses, the next one drops them in the dark. Bench that fefer and fight a different one.
  • Mint in fives. The bulk bonus is free rolls, and it’s one gas fee either way.

FAQ

What's a fefer?

The little blue toy t-rex meme. Blue is the best, and $FEFER is its coin on Stable. We don't issue $FEFER and never custody yours: the game just buys it off the open market with 30% of every dollar mint, plus a slice of every dollar fight, and locks it in a pot with no withdraw function.

Can I win both pots in one fight?

No. Each decisive duel rolls both pots, at roughly 1 in 50 fights for the $FIGHT pot and 1 in 100 for the $FEFER pot, but only one of them can ever pay a given fight. On the rare occasion both come up, the chain pays one and the other pot keeps its money for the next winner.

Do founders get a free mint?

No. Founders pay the same ladder price as anyone minting in that band. What they get is the badge, a permanent discount on every fight, and free revives out of the graveyard.

How many times can a fefer come back?

Three, ever. The fourth death is permanent, for the owner and for anyone who takes it over. The count sticks to the fefer, so buying a fallen one doesn't reset it.

Someone took over my dead fefer. How?

You get a 24-hour head start to revive it on the cheaper owner ladder ($20 / $50 / $200). After that anyone can pay the takeover ladder ($200 / $500 / $1000) and it revives into their wallet instead. Don't leave a good fefer lying down there.

What do I actually win?

90% of the pot, in whatever tokens went into it. The remaining 10% is the dev cut, and part of that is what keeps buying $FEFER for the prize pot after the mint sells out.

Can I transfer or sell a fefer?

Yes. They're standard ERC-721s. Owner Actions → Transfer on the fefer's page, or list it on /market. Rating, record and dead-or-alive state travel with the NFT.

What do baby fefers do?

Hold a fefer, mint an egg, and hatch it into a baby with its own colour band and mouth-weapon. Bond that baby to one of your fefers and it fights alongside it in the stomping ground, adding one combat effect from the weapon it hatched with, a nip, a heal, a ward, a last-ditch save and so on, scaling with the band, blue being the top. It's tuned so a bonded fefer beats an even unbonded one but two bonded fefers are back to a fair fight, so it's an edge, never a sure thing. Babies are tradable on /market too.

What happens if I lose my wallet?

Lose the keys, lose the fefers. Standard self-custody rules: write your seed down, store it offline, never paste it anywhere. Nobody from Fighting Fefers will ever ask for it.

Why does my first duel need two wallet popups?

The first fight from a wallet approves the Duel contract to take your money for the pot. Every fight after that is one popup.

Why Stable?

Gas costs cents, the pot you win pays out in dollars, and no price on the site needs converting in your head. Add fast blocks and the fefer meme already living here, and it's the natural home for a game that settles in real money.

Why does the art look so basic?

On purpose. Every fefer is rolled by a 32×44 pixel-art generator: same token id in, same fefer out, forever, with no servers to die and no images to lose. Crayon-simple and deterministic, and that's the point.

Is it audited?

No paid audit. The contracts carry hard caps and on-chain commitments, and the test suite passes clean, but a test suite isn't an audit. It's a solo build, and you should size your bets accordingly.

Where are the contract addresses?

On this site and in the launch receipts, nowhere else. Never trust a Fighting Fefers address from a DM, a screenshot, or any other account.

Ready? Let’s go.

Connect your wallet, get some USDT on Stable, mint a fefer, and step into the stomping ground. ⚔️
